Submission Guidelines
Authors should only submit original work that has not been published before and is not under submission to any other venue. Submissions must not exceed 8 pages in IEEE 2-column style, including references. Use the standard IEEE Transactions templates for Latex or Microsoft Word formats found here. If the paper is typeset in LaTeX, please use an unmodified version of the LaTeX template IEEEtran.cls version 1.8b, and use the preamble:
Submissions that do not comply with these requirements will be rejected without review.
Do not use additional LaTeX commands or packages to override and change the default typesetting choices in the template, including line spacing, font sizes, margins, space between the columns, and font types. This implies that the manuscript must use 10 point Times font, two-column formatting, as well as all default margins and line spacing requirements as dictated by the original version of IEEEtran.cls version 1.8b.
If you are using Microsoft Word to format your paper, you should use an unmodified version of the Microsoft Word IEEE Transactions template (US letter size). Regardless of the source of your paper formatting, you must submit your paper in the Adobe PDF format.
The paper must print clearly and legibly, including all the figures, on standard black-and-white printers.
Important dates
Submission Website
Papers must be submitted to the website https://hotcrp.info.ucl.ac.be/tma2018/
All papers must be submitted in the Portable Document Format (PDF) electronically. If the submitting author does not have an account, a personal account needs to be created. When submitting the paper, a title, all the co-authors, and a concise abstract of up to 250 words should be provided as the metadata of the paper. The metadata should be provided before the paper registration deadline. The list of authors must be included in the paper manuscript PDF, in accordance to the single blind submission policy. Changes to the paper metadata on the submission site are permitted before the paper submission deadline, which will be February 16, 2018 – 23:59:59 PST.
IEEE, IEEE Communications Society Policies
To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline. To be published in the TMA 2018 conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC co-chairs grant permission for a substitute presenter before the conference. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper.
Publication
Papers accepted for presentation will be published in the IFIP Open Digital Library, with open access, and submitted to IEEE Xplore.
