The TMA Conference 2024 will take place at the Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau (APB) at the TUD Dresden University of Technology.

The TUD Dresden University of Technology is located in Dresden, Germany. It was founded in 1828 as a technical educational institution and is currently one of the eleven “Universities of Excellence” in Germany. Today, it is home to ≈30.000 students and almost 600 professorships.

The Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau is home to the faculty of computer science of the TUD Dresden University of Technology. It is located at Nöthnitzer Str. 46, 01187 Dresden. It can be found using the Campus Navigator. A building map is also available.

How to reach the Venue:

By train:

Take the train to Dresden main station. From there, you have two options by public transport. The fastest option is tram number 3 in the direction of Coschütz. From the main station to the Institute it will take you about 15 minutes. Get off at Münchner Platz and walk another 8 minutes. Get off at the front, cross the street to the left in the direction of travel, and walk up Georg-Schumann-Str. to Nöthnitzer Str. The Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau is in front of you. The main entrance is on the left.

The second option is tram number 8 in the direction of Südvorstadt. You then get off at the Nürnberger Platz station and walk for about 12 minutes. Get off at the back, cross the street to the left in the direction of travel, and follow Münchener Str. to the intersection of Münchener Str. / Bayreuther Str. / Helmholtzstr. Walk left up Helmholtzstr. to Nöthnitzer Str. and cross at the zebra crossing. Continue to the right. The Andreas-Pfitzmann-Bau is on the left.

All trams are directly in front of the main entrance of the main station.

Alternatively, you can walk directly to the computer science building from the main station. The walk takes about 30 minutes. Parts of the route are slightly uphill.

By plane:

Dresden is connected via its own airport, Dresden International DRS. Alternatively, you can fly to Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER and then take a train. A train from BER to Dresden Hauptbahnhof needs ~90 minutes.
